Yeah, stuff

So, um, yeah. I'm sorry, I haven't been answering emails, or reading blogs much, or responding to comments. It's been kind of a down week. Few weeks. When I get like this, everything seems to take so much effort, so I tend to cut out doing everything except the barest essentials, like going to work, pay8ing bills, and feeding and watering the cat. The rain is unending.

I'll be fine; I'm taking a break from work soonish which should help immensely. Meanwhile I have to beat down the sugar cravings with a big metaphorical stick, and make sure I get my vitamin D. Also there will be some dyeing of things BRIGHT YELLOW. I'll post up pictures of my quilt top from those QAWM blocks, soon as I get a border on it. It is quite vivid :)

Aw, I'm sorry. I kind of know how that "everything seems like so much effort" bit goes. I've had days where I literally thought I was going to throw up if I had to grade one more paper.

Hope things get better soon.

Hey Carrie, so happy to see a post from you. Hope you're practically all the way through the tunnel... and out the other side soon. xx

I like that. I may have to make a little sign of that and hang it up in my office as a reminder in difficult times.

De-lurking to wish you well and that life brightens up for you and not just quilt-wise...

The quilt and the bright yellow sound fab.

The down bit, not so much. This too shall pass? There's a light at the end of the tunnel?

Yeah, I'm no good at this right now. I wouldn't even care if it was a train.
